I am deeply disappointed by the complete lack of accountability and urgency at this practice. My daughter had a cavity treated here, but a few months later, she started suffering from severe pain in that exact tooth. When I called for advice, I was told they had no availability for 4 days and were told to just "rotate Tylenol and Advil." After 3 days of my daughter being on painkillers, I called back and demanded an urgent check. A doctor finally saw her, only to give us a referral to another specialist who wasn't available for another week. To make matters worse, when we returned to see her actual dentist who was finally available, they demanded a $100 fee just to agree to see her. Is there no accountability for a treatment this practice performed themselves? Leaving a child in pain and charging extra to fix your own work is completely unacceptable. Avoid this place if you expect reliable follow-up care.

Gavin is the best!!!! I absolutely dreaded this appointment just based off of the last one at the Halle office and how upsetting it was for my daughter... BUT Gavin, our dental hygienist this time at the NW gville office, is an absolute rockstar! Gavin was amazing with my daughter and it went so well. He is patient, playful, engaging, and just super nice. He definitely tried to make it a fun appointment for her! Gavin is 5/5 stars!!! If you are scheduling an appointment for a young child or a child that doesn't like the dentist request Gavin!!

Let me start off my saying that the dentist are amazing and so are the dental assistance. The offices at both location are decorated so nicely and inviting for kids. My issue is the staff at the front I started going fall of 2025 and my 9 year old had a bad cavity that I wanted to take care of before it got worse. The dentist did a referral for a second look well I went and was referred back to the office due to my child's age. I called for weeks to set up the appt I was told they never got a email back. So I had it resent then I was told that would call me back but never did. At this point we are now in January. I then call again as my child tooth has gotten worse and now broken. They couldn't get me in until March just to tell me the copay to fix the now broken tooth is over $2,000. If it was handled months ago the tooth wouldn't have been broken. Then for my son I was told he needed sealants and it would be covered by my insurance so why weeks later I get a bill in the mail. I immediately called for a explanation and was told we will review and call you back, Welp it's been a week and nobody called me back. My kids always have an amazing experience when they go to Kids Only Dental. The whole staff is amazing. They make my kids feel comfortable and happy.

Finding a dentist that accepts your insurance can be challenging, once I did all my calls and viewed the reviews I think I made the BEST choice ever for my son. He was experiencing some tooth pain, they were able to get a appointment soon enough and when we arrive to his appointment he was done within an blink of an eye. All the staff are very friendly and nice and when my son came from the back of getting his 1st tooth pulled he was all smiles and from that I knew the staff was taking good care of him. I highly recommend this dentist for your child. Nothing but good experience since I first took my son which was Oct 2025.
